Dietary Tips to Fight Cancer on the occasion of Cancer Survivor Month

Healthy food behaviors can go a long way toward improving  health and lowering risk of many cancers .Some foods actually increase your risk of cancer, while others support your body and strengthen your immune system. By making smart food choices, you can protect your health, feel better, and boost your ability fight off cancer and other diseases.

1. Eating a diet high in fiber may help prevent colorectal cancer and other common digestive system cancers. For this you could substitute whole grain bread for multigrain bread and use brown rice instead of white rice.

2. Diets high in non starchy vegetables and eating fruits in vitamin C protect against oesophageal cancer. While eating vegetables containing caretenoids reduce the risk of lung cancer, lycopene rich fruits and vegetables lower the risk of prostate cancer.

3. Water is essential for fighting cancer as it stimulates the immune system. Also the more fiber you add to your diet, the more fluids you must drink as fiber absorbs fluids.

4. High meat diet can have a toll on your health if you have a sedentary lifestyle. By reducing the amount of meat in your diet, you can substantially cut down the risk of cancer. You can use a little bit of meat (portion size equal to your palm) to add flavour or texture to your food instead of making it the main element. Even in such cases try to avoid processed meats and opt for leaner meats like chicken, fish and turkey.

5. Even though a diet high in fat can cause cancer and cholesterol problems, some types of fat may actually protect against the same. Fats solid at room temperature are considered bad for you. The best fats are unsaturated fats which can be found in olive oil, canola oil, nut s and avocados. Also focus on omega-3 fatty acids which fight inflammation and support brain and heart health..

THE WORLD REMADE

Barbara Walters once said It would be nice to feel that we are a better world, a world of more compassion and a world of more humanity, and to believe in the basic goodness of man.
Is it Possible to make a world that we all believe in?

This world is full of wonderful things. But there are also a bunch of irritating, useless and idiotic things that make you want to wish you could make them disappear

I would not just sit in the background. I would play an active role in my creation, building great things, and constantly influencing the world to make it more and more obvious that I existed to my people while also creating false gods, prophets and the like to encourage rival factions. I'd build this world with the intention of creating a number of groups who would eventually go to war. At this time I would appear on my simulated planet and begin granting super powers to all sides of the conflict.

I would make sure my creations knew that Right doesn't come from me. While I would have power over them, I would not want them to accept my authority, as only they are in a position to determine what is right by them.I will establish a set of rules that man should live by though don't necessarily have to. If they don't live by it, there will be no personal relationship with me. If they do, they will spend an eternity with me, giving me new ideas for situations and creations.

Some nations provoke youths to become terrorists in the name of religion. But it is important to understand that no religion encourages killing of the innocent people.
I’d change the human evolutionary past to make them better able to understand the impact of their actions on others. In broad terms, humans have evolved to look after a small group of people that they feel loyalty to (your family, your nationality, or your religious group. We all simply don’t think of this because our brains haven’t evolved to cope with it – I’d love to change that.

I would get rid of disease, and ensure that there were enough resources for everyone to live happily with no suffering. I would also probably limit our reproductive rate so the earth doesn’t become overpopulated.

I am participating in the #TheWorldRemade activity at BlogAdda in association with India Today #Conclave15

#HawaaHawaaiWithHorlicks

Recently I got  a chance to Watch Hawaa Hawaai.I have been quite impressed by both Movies of Amole Gupte "Taare Zameen Par" as Well as "Stanley Ka Dabba".So When I Stepped in,My Expectations were more from this Movie.

While the movie is all about a Young Boy Arjun (Partho Gupte) who comes from a very poor Background and is Forced into leaving in his Village. He Drops Out of School and Starts working with a Tea Seller. In Between He makes  friends with  Street Kids.

Just Near his Tea Stall He watches Rich Kid Skates and from thereon he Dreams about Winning.Saqib Saleem has done Justice to his role as a Wheel Chair Bound Teacher Who Does what he Commits to Himself.

Good Thing about this Movie is It is Really Inspiring but the Storyline is Quite Predictable and You can almost Predict what is going to be there in Next Scene and It doesn't deliver any Surprises.

Overall Its a Good Movie with a Message that  Even People from poor Background  can Dream And Win.

Special Thanks to Horlicks For Providing me tickets for this Movie.
